Hey guys. It's looking like I will be pretty available for Sept 13-14 or Sept 20 for a longer ride. Anyone interested?
Hopefully Randy will be all healed up and back on two wheels by then, too!
Hey PTM, I'm definately interested. I'll keep the dates open.

Hopefully Randy will be healed and repaired by then!

What roads/route you thinking of?
At this point I'm not holding my breath. I am starting to get all sorts of stiff (mostly in my neck) and my rib still hurts. I have a doctors appointment in two weeks and if it is still bothering me then I will definitely tell the doctor. At this point I have no idea how strong my arm and shoulder will be either and I have no intention of riding until I am strong enough to safely control the bike.
Who knows, I could be worrying for nothing, but the way this whole thing has gone its really hard to look on the bright side about it.
To top it all off they haven't even gotten the go ahead from the insurance company to work on the bike. My accident was 7 weeks ago this past Friday.
Ah, man.. that is a total buzz kill. Good call on taking it easy until you are sure of it, though.

I can't believe the insurance hasn't done anything yet.. that's ridiculous. Should be a few days tops to sort that out.
The issue is the first adjuster left the company about a week after he was assigned to the case, but nobody ever told me about it and the new adjuster didn't get the case right away and she was overwhelmed with trying to take care of both hers and his cases. The dealer called me on Thursday because they hadn't heard from the insurance company and kept getting recorded messages when they called. Turns out the dealer didn't know that the insurance company was in the eastern time zone and they close down at 5pm EST. What a mess...so we can't call them after 2pm here...talk about a pain in the ass.
Hang in there, Randy. Sounds like it might get straightened out soon.

You're wise to take it slow in getting back on the bike. You'll know when you're ready.
Yeah, thanks. At this rate I will be ready before the bike is.
So, I'm wondering if Lake Berryessa and/or Calistoga could be a pretty good time? Since it's a little further out, I have not been up that way but I know that Berryessa is pretty popular.
Heck yeah. There's some great roads up in those parts.
