I just ordered a new CHROME REAR CARRIER off bike bandit for the 2014 CB1100. Any tips on installation? I couldn't find any instructions online.

The one I got from Webike came with a couple of spacers and longer bolts, and illustrated instructions with the text in Japanese. If yours comes the same way, or even with no instructions, you should be able to figure what goes where. Just be aware that you will probably need to grow longer fingers and a third hand. You'll see what I mean....

Do you install one side at a time?
Get the instructions in English as per post from Popgun, that will help a lot. It is not difficult at all once you can read the instructions in ENGLISH !!!

You remove the side bolts that need to be removed. Then you place the rack where it belongs and just install the two front bolts one side at a time, and then do the two rear. Keep everything loose until all the bolts are in place, then tighten everything.
The hardest part will be to get the bolts to start grabbing the nuts on the inside of the frame. If you have a rubber mat, a piece of carpet, or even cardboard that you can position under the bike, all the better. You WILL drop a nut or two during the install, and it's better that you have a softish floor surface so they don't bounce and roll far away. And don't do the install at dusk or you'll need a flashlight to find the lost nuts. DAMHIK.
Don't sweat it and wait for it to arrive. You'll see what needs to be done.
I put up a post with some pics for installation of a '10/'13 rack. If they are similar then it will help. My first attempt to install took me some time. I now get the rack off, or on, in less than 5 minutes.
Cheers
I'm thinking about a rear carrier, which is the best bang for the bucks?
Use painters tape to keep your nuts (....) on the wrench and than it is very easy to get bolts started.
Well I ordered from bikebandit.com for $230! Awesome deal! BUT!! The rear carrier didn't come with INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Well I used Pterodactyl's post he made about installing as reference and it was pretty straight forward. Dang some of the spaces are tight!! But took about 30 mins and I got it all installed

Now I can carry my stuff without a darn backpack! Very happy haha
