The Ferret's history of the CB1100 2010-2017 2.0

No permission to download
Introduction

One upon a time ... well, in 2013 actually, Honda Motorcycles dispatched an unknown number of its wonderful air-cooled, in-line four, CB1100 motorcycles to the USA. The website CB1100Forum.com was created by a man known only as Guth and an international band of brothers and occasional sisters came together around the motorcycle.

By 2025, for no reason anyone has ever determined, Guth had abandoned his forum and, although exquisitely moderated by @the Ferret with occasional assistance from yours truly, it was becoming unreliable, unstable and often unavailable to its loyal band of users.

A new member and 2017EX rider, @rdprdp01, came to the rescue and built the website CB1100Forum.net. With the aid of his henchman, @Mostafa, he managed to port across most of the important and useful posts from CB1100Forum.com and a new iteration of the forum was born.

At some point in the life of CB1100Forum.com, @the Ferret and some helpers compiled a brief history of what is likely to be the last of the large capacity air-cooled, in-line four cylinder Honda motorcycles. The original threads at CB1100Forum.com did not make it to CB1100Forum.net. More importantly, nor did the accompanying pictures.

Forum member @Delphisa has recovered the pictures and reconstructed the posts in the documents attached to this resource.
