Has anyone put clubman handlebars on their bike have a problem with the controls hitting the tank with bars turned full? I just put some on its a very tight fit and I'm going to need to changes cables as the throttle is a little sticky and just too long now. But biggest problem is the controls hit the tank. does anyone have a fix for this?

Had them for a little while and hated them on this bike. Loved them on my old cb750 though. Just reroute your cables to get them to free up. I didn't have a problem with them contacting the tank till i wrecked.

I put some cable lube on the throttle cables and it's good now but full turn the contols still hit the tank. I'm thinking if I can put something on the front end where the steering stoppers are to not let the bars turn as far I would do that but I can't figure out where the steering stoppers are

Yeah i forgot mine was touching the speedo too... i don't know if the 2013 and 2014 gauge clusters are the same width or not but that might be the difference. Also if you modify the steering stops that'll probably not let your neck lock work.

All of that work for those bars doesn't seem worth it
I hated them after a week.
I've tried two different bars and gone back to the OEMs. Like several other things, they got it right the first time on this bike.
I am the opposite. While I wouldn't go clubman, I find the CB500 bar swap (in the modifications thread) to be just perfect. The look is FAR better than stock, to me, but I lean toward the cafe look. I look at my old vs new photos and you couldn't pay me to go back to stock now. Extra cool is the fact that with the bars being a Honda part, the paint on them is EXACTLY the same as is already on the engine.

I really like the handlebar from stock and the riding position at the CB1100 as it is. It just fits very well to me, your mileage may vary.

Once I had a CB500T for a couple of years, when I was a student. The position and handlebar reminds me a lot to this model:
