Chrome Duals for 14 STD?
#1

Does anyone make dual chrome exhaust for a 14 STD? I've gone through the web sites and I see the 4 into 4 but not the 4 into 2 with chrome headers on back.
Thanks
Mike

Moriwaki makes black, titanium, and chrome duals that work on the STD. You will lose the center/maintenance stand.

I still can't find them. If you have a direct link I would appreciate it.

'13 and '14 exhausts are the same. Parts numbers are identical on Moriwaki's page, but it is written in Japanese so I will spare you. Stainless is the material, but unless it is listed as Black or Titanium, then chrome is the finish.

Wait...wait. My 14 STD has a single exhaust, like they all do, and only one hanger is designed to hang a pipe. The right hanger and left are different. The right is longer with an extra hold to mount the left side pipe. The left hanger has no way to hang a pipe. So, does the vendor send a new hanger painted the correct color black for the STD so one can hang the left pipe? Thanks.

The bracket on the left side of the bike has a hole behind the passenger peg. Moriwaki includes a "plug" that bolts into that hole and attaches a bracket for the left muffler. You do not replace the whole set bracket, unless you are converting to a rear set, which Moriwaki also makes, but is not necessary in order to run their exhaust.

Curious if the 2014 standards have the muffler mounting hole on the left side? I had to purchase a new foot peg bracket when I converted my 2013 to duals. Picture below shows their differences.

No, the 2014 standard doesn't have the mounting point. That is why Moriwaki supplies the adapter I spoke about. Go to this website: http://www.moriwaki.co.jp/global/product...del=CB1100
Scroll down to the Twin Megaphone and click on the "Manual" button. That will bring up the illustrated parts break down page. If you look at the top of the top of the page, #22 is the adapter I speak of.

Thanks for the link, WhiskeyUSMC1979. Interesting option to buying the OEM foot peg bracket. I should have known Moriwaki would supply everything you need.
