I know is not a bike, but still Honda

Can anybody using Honda 1.5 L turbo engine with CVT power plant provide feedback, any problems???
Thinking of buying a low mileage 2017 Honda CR-V Lx equipped with the above ..
Not interested with links, internet reviews, just from drivers or their friends.

I have a 2017 CR-V EX with that powertrain. I have averaged an incredible 36.3 calculated mpg over 36k miles. My commute is over 30 miles and so I don't have the dreaded gas in the oil problem you may have if you use it for short trips. The computer display is a little flakey, but overall it's been a good car. My son is about to buy one.

I bought a new 2017 CRV with the turbo engine in November 2017 and my wife took my 2004 CRV when her Civic 's transmission went.
The turbo engine gives me 30 mpg , the 2004 has 28 mpg ( US gallons )
I really like the 2017 but miss the CD player as they no longer put them in cars. I do not care for the display of all the electronics possibilities as I am too lazy to learn how too use them. My 2004 has 185000 miles on them and never had a problem ( bought new ) You never go wrong buying a new Honda or a good used one. There I very little turbo lag and I quickly got used to the CVT.

Not a Honda, but I have a CVT in my '14 Altima 2.5L. I didn't like the CVT at first but now, 90,000 miles later, I really like it. The car averages 40 mpg (turns 1500 rpm at 65 mph) and moves out with authority when you press the go pedal.

2019 Honda 1.5L inline-4 with CVT (no turbo). Beat around Kentucky and Ohio recently without any issue. Almost 12000 kms and its first oil change was today - Honda computer said the time was near.
5.0L/100 kms (47 mpg). That is about equivalent to riding the CB1100 without over doing it.
Engine purrs very nicely, and the CVT is best in class. It does not "whirr" like more traditional CVTs and the belt never needs replacing. The one thing that is a bit annoying is the shifter: It doesn't notch well into "D" drive and sometimes it is easy to move through it - so a bit soft.

I have a 2017 EXL with 15k miles on it. Coming from a BMW X5 for me it was as basic transport as it got but after living with it for nearly three years now I can honestly say that it’s a solid choice for an everyday vehicle. CVT takes a bit of time to get used to and the engine could use a bit more pep but overall it does every well with interior quality that’s very nice. I drive mostly city and very short trips so my lifetime mileage is 22mpg once on the highway I’ve seen it in the mid 30s. If you want more excitement I’d look toward Acura RDX. It has 2.0t with a conventional transmission with none of this rubber band shenanigans of CRV.
