Has anyone run a bigger front tyre?
Noticed the Michelin PR4 has only one 18" and its a 120 not a 110
Not sure if a wider front is such a good idea?
thoughts?

Had PR3/120 in front on my '13 model. NO problems, made about 25 Kms.
Presently, for my '14, I have f/110, but next season will go back to PR4- f/120 again due to better handling when riding.

A number of forum members have run the 120 PR3 on the font without complaint.

On my second set of rears and first new front after the original tires using:
Bridgestone Battlax T31 Front Tire 120/70R18
Bridgestone Battlax T31 Rear Tire 160/60R18
I really like them for aesthetics and handling. They are a great tire. No issues going wider but my mechanic told that is as wide as he would go on that rim.
However, I do not get life out of them like others do - 12,000km max on the rear, down to the sparkly bits (not good!) both times. I ride hard on the twisties and do have to ride on some coarser "chip seal" roads regularly so that may contribute. We don't have great asphalt around here.
Probably looking for something different next year.

QimmiQ, why did you not go with the OEM size in the BT31?
