Maybe if he'd had a CB this wouldn't have happened:

"An attempt to execute the first successful landing of a double front-flip has ended badly.
After undergoing three hours of back surgery, Cook will now have to spend another week in hospital in Ontario before returning home."
A whole WEEK in the hospital? My God...what a cruel fate...

Those guys are nuts. I hadn't heard of them before their 3d movie got onto Netflix (btw, did you know you can actually stream 3d movies from Netflix? The future is now!) but after watching that, I'm honestly surprised any of them manage to survive.

Ouch, those FMX kids are fearless. I have to say jumping a bike is one of the funnest things to do. I used to have a little 55' double in the back yard, endless hours of jumping. Great fun, my best trick was just a bit of a tail whip, no flips.

We (my son and I) happened to see one of the first public showings of a motorcycle back-flip. It was at the Bank Atlantic arena in Sunrise FL. It was a huge deal at the time; the place was packed and they built an entire show around that one stunt.
But now, a few years later, they're doing double front-flips. What the hell is next, somebody frying bacon and eggs while in mid-air?
