CB1100 is Tops
#1
I've owned my 2013 for 5 months now and have used it for running errands, traveling and day trips. Without a doubt this is my favorite bike of all time. This one is a keeper that I intend to ride until I'm too feeble to ride anymore. My '73 BMW has been kicked down to 2nd place.

If I buy another bike it will be a DLX but I'm keeping my 2013.

Glad to hear people who have had a few bikes say how much they like the CB1100
Because I've only had my two 25 year old Ninjas and this CB1100 to compare....and every "once in a while" , even though I love the CB1100.......I start wondering if I wouldn't like a BMW or KTM 160 HP naked bike even more! Or if that isn't what I should have bought when I got back into the sport last year.....
So good to hear how much people in the know, like it!
Glad I didn't get the Bonneville or I would be really wondering what more power feels like!!

Hiker, my wife had a 2012 Bonnie and it was a nice bike. Great motor with adequate power, good handling and decent brakes. The seat however, was little better than a wood plank and the suspension was harsh. She soon traded it for another V-strom.

I wish I'd owned more bikes so I could make the comparison, but I reckon this bike is a beauty. I've ridden it nearly 14,000 kms now, including some big days, and I'm enjoying it more and more. It's not just great to ride, it's lovely to look at as well.

Had a few a bikes here as well in my time, love the CB1100 except for the seat, think I will be looking at a Corbin in the near future.

Love mine. Have ridden pretty much everything else and owned a good few dozen.

Won't change much on mine. I agree the seat is pretty crap. Will aim to change that in due course.

Join team double CB red birds. I have the 2013 and bought the 2014 Dlx, just to have a spare and variety.

I love the CB but all I have to compare to it recently is my VFR. The viffer was a beaut and a real thrill. But the CB is the one for me now - smooth and friendly and willing. It's the bike I should have had all along.

There is a thread around here that asked the question, "Will your CB be the last bike you buy?" After one year and 10,763 miles, my answer remains unchanged: The CB may not be the last bike I buy, but it will be the last bike I own. My 2013 is a keeper. Smile
