has anyone done a measurable before and after comparison following installation of a power commander? i find it odd that dynojet has enough time/effort to put up a video of them installing a pcm on a cb1100, but wouldn't put the effort into making a video showing any sort of before/after results (not to mention preparation of any custom maps.) since i have had mixed results with pcm installations (on cars/trucks i have owned they were noticeable, but not on my old 2002 gsxr750) i am hesitant at spending the time/money without seeing something confirming them first.
i am waiting till september when my warranty expires before installing one on the bike, so i was hoping that i could find out something positive here first. to date my changes to the bike have been mainly cosmetic (painted sidecovers and fork gaitors) aside from the yoshimura slip on muffler and 17 tooth front sprocket.
overall i am very happy with my cb1100 "as-is" compared to other motorcycles that i have owned (several sportbikes, an enduro, a triumph thruxton and a few cbs,) but then again who wouldn't mind a little extra performance at minimal work/expense.
