I did it!!

Found a new 2013 at a dealer not too far away and was able to negotiate a decent deal, not as low as some reports on this board, but not bad. Banana

Really happy with the bike. I'm going to be posting a lot here....

I'd like to put on a pair of engine guards. I like the OVER guards on the Samurider site.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to place an order with Samurider? It doesn't look like you can place an order directly on the site. When viewing a product, there is a button to "request a quote." I did that but the site gave me an error message. Then I sent a general e-mail inquiry using the CONTACT US button. It went through, because I received an automated acknowledgement e-mail, but have not received any sort of communication from them about how to order.

Thanks all!!

Congrats on the new bike, I have the 2013 as well and love it.
I'm sure someone will chime in with info on ordering from Samurider.
I got my engine guards from twisted throttle the SW Motech type and really like those.
Enjoy the bike!

Congratulations on the new CB! It's a fantastic bike as you are finding out. I've ordered a number of items from Takashi at Samurider and each time have done the "request a quote" option. Takashi is really good at getting back to you with a price quote and if you still want to purchase the item, you let him know and he sends you a PayPal invoice. He's great at answering questions and ships quickly. A pleasure to deal with. Just remember there's a big time difference between us here in the U.S. and Takashi in Japan. Right now, it's just past 6AM on Saturday over there (it's just past 2PM on Friday here on the west coast).

I ordered my OEM engine guards from Samurider then had them powder coated black to go well with my black Standard. Those OVER brand guards look nice too. I hope you never need them!

Thanks metally. Good points. I should've mentioned that I made the inquiry on Tuesday. I'll be patient and wait for him to catch up on vacation backlog. The site says he was on vacation earlier this month.

Like Metally said you can do the request for quote on his site or email him directly at his contact email anytime.

There is a clock on his site that shows Japan time. Due to the time difference, you will usually get one email a day. And if you want something you don't see on his site, ask him. He may have it or can get it. Awesome to do business with!

Same thing for me. A dealer had one in the crate, in the back of their warehouse. A salesman and I went over and even had to cut the cardboard off the crate to look at it. Made a deal on it.

Funny, when I went to pick it up, the owner was there and was semi upset that his salesman had found it. He said he wanted to keep it in the crate for 10 years.

Welcome. Samarider is a great place to purchase. Because of the differences in the yen and dollar, it varies daily so he wants to give you the most current price. Shipping is amazingly fast. I've gotten orders faster than from Revzilla and Amazon. I really enjoy my '13
