Spoke to Ricky Carmichael's yesterday and he is doing a lot better. His leg is still in a cast due to the severe injury to it. He is going through therapy for his hands. Insurance company totaled the bike. They said he could buy it back for just over $5k. Not sure if he's going to do it. He's doing the best he can for what he is going through.

He can probably buy his bike back for less than 10% of that amount at salvagebikeauctions dot com.

I guess I haven't been keeping up as this is the first I heard of Ricky's injuries.

Thank you. It has been tough and painful. The loss of the CB is just insulting considering everything else that has happened this year.

I'm trying. Keeping my spirits up has been challenging.

How's the wife's leg healing up?

She's tired of being dependent on me and others. It bums her out sometimes. She's doing her PT stuff and has a follow up with the surgeon on 8/9. We're just about a month out before she can weight the leg, if her follow up goes as planned.
