I finally received my 2014 CB1100!!!!! It took a month but I picked up my bike 2 days ago an I Love it!!!!! Love the looks and the bike is as smooth as butter. People at stop lights and when I'm getting gas just want to stop and talk about the CB.. If any one could suggest a windshield and a rear rack for the Cb I would appreciate it.. The only thing I noticed about the CB thats slightly negative is a faint ticking noise on the left hand side while driving.. not the ticking we hear when we stop riding and park the bike.. The bike in my opinion is superior than the Honda nc700x that I traded in for the CB And its superior than my HD xl 883.

Congratulations! It is like butter, isn't it? For the windshield and rack click on the square at the top right of this page, Samurider.

Not to step on anybody's toes but, Samurider is great place to shop, just not necessarily the best place to spend money. their prices can be somewhat extreme.
a specific windshield I would reccomend is one from Dart Flyscreens. (the Marlin is my personal choice). They might not have what you're looking for, though, if you're looking for more full coverage.
I'm not entirely happy with my rear luggage rack, so I hesitate to reccomend it, but it's from Fehling (german) and has carried much luggage for me already without looking bad at all.

That ticking is most likely the fuel injectors. They do that.

First off Congrats. Super motorcycle. I echo popgun in that you are probably hearing the fuel injectors. We all seem to notice them when we first get the bike, but never notice them after a week or two of riding.
I also have a Fehling rack but it is small. Then again all I strap to it (with Rok straps) is a rolled up rainsuit.
People seem very happy with the Honda accessory rack.
As to a windshield the most popular choices seem to be... small (Dart) , Medium (NC Street shield EX), or large (NC Plexifairing) or Cool (Road Comet 1 or 2)

Congrats on the new bike, and welcome to the CB1100 "club". I have the Honda OEM rack and the Road Comet 2 fairing/windshield and love them both -- functional and aesthetically pleasing on the bike. Search this forum, you'll find lots of great advice and pictures.

I too was concerned initially with the ticking. These folks calmed me down with the fuel injector comments you're hearing. Took a little getting used to. With a louder pipe...gone.
Congrats. You will love this bike. I like it more with every ride. My Bonneville gets a lot more rest these days.

Congrats! I picked up my new 2014 two days ago too. Stepping up from CB500F. I’m also looking for windscreen, cargo rack and the right top case. I haven’t noticed any ticking sound so far.
