I'm trying to make the neck roll a bit tighter on my Shoei RF-1200. At higher speed I find the wind noise pretty loud. There are several factors in this problem, and the helmet is one.
I found that if I put my hand up to the neck roll, just behind the ear, then wind noise is reduced quite a bit. So I think that based on my head & neck shape, I have an opening/leak there.
Shoei offers up/down sizing for the cheek pads & liner. Will replacing either the cheek pads and/or liner to a tighter size make the neck roll tighter? Or something else you would suggest?
Thanks!
