Sachsenring MotoGP Possible Spoiler Alert *
#1
Round 9 of 18

Sachsenring, in the former East Germany, is only 2.8 miles in length and has 10 left-hand turns compared to three 3 right-handers. One of the slowest race tracks on the circuit with lots of tight corners and the longest straight of only 0.435 miles. The track is very abrasive and very hard on tires.

Only 15 points separate the top Moto3 riders going into this weekend:

1st place Jack MILLER on a KTM with 117 points
2nd place Romano FENATI on a KTM with 110 points
3rd place Alex MARQUEZ on a Honda – 110 points
4th place Alex RINS on a Honda – 107 points
5th place Efren VAZQUEZ Honda – 102 points

Should be an interesting weekend.

Wouldn't miss it. Pedrosa and Rossi tied for second and they both just signed new contract extensions.

DVR is set. This has been a great season thus far. Marquez is making history with his string of wins but he is having to work harder for them as the season progresses. Moto2, as always, has been good but Moto3 has been the real show, better than ever.

If Marquez wins this one, he can sit out the rest of the season as World Champion. Unbelievable!

Lorenzo still hasn't signed an extension with Yamaha.

Lorenzo is holding out for more money. Meanwhile Dani just signed a 2 yr contract extension with Honda, Rossi is on board with Yamaha for 2 more years, and Lorenzo is down in 5th place.

In other news, Suzuki just announced they will participate in the season ending race in Valencia as a wildcard entry ridden by Randy de Puniet.

"Randy de Punt" perhaps?

It will be nice to have Suzuki back on the track. I've always seen them as the "David" vs. the Honda "Goliath.". And the Rizzla Girls with those cop outfits...yum!

I thought Suzuki/Bautista was really making progress right before Suzuki quit last time. At times he was challenging for a podium. Compared to Honda everyone is a David (Yamaha is just a pretty powerful David) , but I can't find fault for a company that wants to be number one and goes all out to attain that, which is Honda's modus operandi...always has been.

Aleix Espargaro, 6th in points thus far, would be a good pick for Suzuki next year if he is not still under contract with Forward Yamaha.

A change to a standard ECU for Motogp and to a different tire supplier are going to make for some interesting racing next two years.

Aleix Espargaro was fasted in both FP1 and 2

Both Marquez and Pedrosa suffered heavy crashes but apparently are unhurt

Rossi 6 th fastest in Fp

Top 16 riders separated by less than a second.
