Lane Filtering-Victoria Australia
#1
Victoria is a state of Australia which, this morning, announced ground breaking lane filtering rules.

Thought you might be interested in the report which is [url=http://www.amcn.com.au/news/1503/victorian-lane-filtering-laws-released]here.

“Oddly, this contact sometimes also occurs with the heel of a rider’s boot.”

Cormanus, thanks for the link. Clap

Wouldn't RLETs apply as filter feelers?

Only when using the 'extra long' RLET, part # 95010-16061.

The filter feelers on that bike may be a bit low to do much good and there an inch past the mirrors. So you have an inch to play with, doesn't make much sense.

FFS, the FFFF capital cost is a bit steep. Combined with the FFFFFF that's a whole heap of South Pacific Pesos (SPP). Will this apply to bikes registered in other states, QLD,SA,NT, WA, NSW, TAS?

“Only after the TAC-approved Four-inch Flexible Filter Feelers are fitted by a Four-inch Flexible Filter Feeler Fitter and the appropriate Four-inch Flexible Filter Feeler Fitter Fee is paid can a rider legally filter,”

Say that fast 5 times
