Starting tomorrow, the track layout is reverting back to the pre 2016 layout. The super slow chicane with different pavement is history after numerous rider complaints.

6 ZARCO 0.585
7 PEDROSA 0.620

Marquez crashed 4 times today! Two bent and broken bikes in his paddock. He starts in row 2. Lorenzo starting in second. Will he fade again?

The media are making a big deal out of Yamaha not coming to Catalunya to test earlier The teams that tested there are doing well. The track is very slick and bumpy. Pedrosa even saying that if they don't repave before 2018's race, he doesn't see how they can race there.

Dovizioso again after riding a considered and excellent race. Sad for Dani who just didn't seem to be able to hang on.
Lorenzo, too, showed better form this time. Maybe he's finally getting the hand of the Ducati?

Great race for Dovi. All the riders complained about grip. I think Dani has been on the podium 4 out of 5 races this season, and crashed out the one he didn't podium on (last week). Going to be another close but no cigar year for the little Spaniard unfortunately.

Zarco continues to lead among the mid-pack riders. Both Tech 3 riders ahead of their factory counterparts.

Decent race for the factory Hondas. Hopefully they can catch Dovi and Maverick, though ya gotta love a guy with the name Maverick!
In the lower classes, I really enjoyed the Moto3 race. The competition is so good! Mir is a tough guy and it'll be fun to watch him in Moto2.
And Alex Marquez won again in total command. Good to see that the crash fest has stopped a bit for him. Wonder what happens if he gets bumped up to MotoGP and he's competing with Marc!
Too bad Brad Binder isn't having much success on the KTM in Moto2. Like to see the good competitors on good machines.
