This Saturday at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, there will be a vintage Japanese car show, and I heard that the So Cal Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club will also be displaying. Unfortunately, it's calling for rain (for the first time since... can't remember).

Ha. Yeah, Mrs. Gone will put out her assortment of pots and pans to catch as much water as she can, then pour it into some gallon jugs to water her plants.
I was going to go, but with the rain prediction, meh... even if it just rains a bit on and off, it will make it a hot, muggy, soupy experience.
Mom has been sounding needy lately, so we'll head down for a visit.

Some years ago I went to a similar show at Shoreline Marina in Long Beach. It reminded me of all the opportunities I did not take thru the years. Back in the day, I really wanted a Honda 750, but... I also really wanted a Datsun 240/260Z, but... More recently I really wanted a Honda S2000, but... But I did get a Acura Legend V6 Coupe that I kept for 25 years, I've had several Honda bikes, and still have a CB, and I have a Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe, so...
