Normally this rides on the Griso, but I have the MRA on her now.

Looks all right. Does it work OK?

What are we looking at the fairing?
If so, it just looks OK. Kind of like you took something from another bike.

I think it looks very European. How well does it work on the CB Rboe?

I looks uber good on the Griso (and bigger for some reason, perhaps the large black hand guards help visualy). The MRA screen with the laminair lip do a better job of keeping the wind off the chest and shoulders (it worked so well I added MRA mounts to the CB so I can swap).

But while "cleaning" out the shop this thing was laying there so I held it up the CB and seemed to look OK so I bolted her up. Does not look as good as she does on the Griso (no pics on this computer to share) where the curves go well with the lines of the Griso, less so on the CB.

Sitting behind it, it holds some promise. I'll get out this weekend and test it. I suspect it would look better if painted to match the CB. I'd rather keep it black as that looks good on the Griso. Many folks painted the A770 Tenni green to match the Griso (some even added the crème stripes) - looks very nice! There is enough black on the Griso that the black fairing looks good. This does not seem to hold true for the CB though. Bugger. Smile

The down side; the A770 has been out of production for several years and no longer available.

It has a little more modern look to it than some, but it still looks cool and, if it keeps the wind off you, then it's perfect. How does it mount? Is it easy to change out?

Let us know how it does. Will this be the first windscreen ride on your CB? I spotted a lot of other mods on your bike - Buell pegs, CB500 mirrors, SW Motech crash bars?

Good eye, most of those don't show up well as they blend in nicely.

It goes on with the two side bolts for the headlight bucket. To avoid scratches on the mounting arms I put the tangs behind the mounts next to the bucket. That pinches the fairing a wee bit. If I had some washers I'd try an outboard mounting.

I also added the luggage rack. Lamm* seat and the pin striping on the rims.

*poor customer service, but does a decent seat. No Russell Day Long, good for about six hours. Next time I'll look around for a different vendor.

Looks great! Nice seat and rack too! The seat looks like you could ride coast to coast.

I like the look sitting behind it. but a bit more buffeting at the helmet than I like. Temped to keep it on a while to see if grows on me.

I'll look around for a bikini fairing with better lines (but larger than the Chic).
