Any CB 1100 with tracks and skis?
#1

Three to five feet of heavy wet snow in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We had our "100 year" blizzard this weekend. Lots of folks without power for three days. Not sure if it will end the riding season but it might.... I'll get some photos up ASAP. Just got cable and internet back a couple of hours ago.

My Car Saturday PM at a neighbors house as I couldnt get up the hill.

Saturday morning after more snow and some 30-50 mph winds

Not really looking forward to it this year either! Especially when I have to put the bikes away as I have two I need to sell yet... Ugh. Maybe I ought to just lower the price and not try to get that much... Need them gone more than anything.. But it is still fun to ride from time to time but yet the snow is a coming and room needs to be made for the snowblower...

After months of sweltering heat, rain, and humidity thick enough to slice with a knife, it's finally riding season in FL again. C'mon down!

To add a little balance here; I love snow. Smile The last few years I've been flying back to Minnesota for an annual snowshoe party some friends put on. Nothing like canoeing down the Brule River in Wisconsin in the winter. Very peaceful.

But like all good things, they are best in measured moderate quantities. You guys got dumped on! We used to get the worst storms around Halloween for some reason.

Yes, summer was brutal. Summer mesh riding gear had nothing on the heat. That is why we see so many riders in shorts and sleeveless t-shirts in florida (squids). Maybe they'll put on some protection. I am looking forward to the cool weather and less rain.

I love snow, I just don't like to deal with it several months at a time.

This kind of snow is WAY out of the norm for us. We might get a similar type of wet snow / storm in March or April but in the first week of October, never in my lifetime. Usually October is mild. But here in the Hills we never know what is next.
