Father's Day Ride
#1

My son and I were supposed to ride together down into Kentucky this morning but it was raining pretty hard when I woke up. Weather forecast said 70% chance of rain so he picked me up at 9AM and we went to breakfast in the cage. Funny thing though by the time breakfast was over about 10:30, the sun was out and it was looking pretty good. Unfortunately he had to get back home by 11 to meet his wife and kids after church so he dropped me off at home and took off.

I have been meaning to stick my "summer shield" on the ST, so I took a few minutes to do that and then grabbed a bottle of lemonade and a peanut log roll from Ole and took it for a test ride by heading for Stonelick Lake about 30 miles from home, taking some really delicious roads along the way.

ST with "summer shield" (For Tink, Curly and popgun this is a stock shield with 5" cut off the top) all the way down (as shown) you get good clean air flow, but I can still raise it 7" and just see over the top of it for protection if needed.

Some of the great roads. I think I took 49 pics of curves this morning on the 66 mile ride and could have taken 100 more lol

It looks like you had the road all to yourself or timed those pics just right!

Not much traffic out my way, I might run into one car going my direction in 10 or 15 miles. There are days when I can run 60 or 70 miles and never be behind another vehicle. See a couple on the other side coming towards me sometimes. Really is a great place to ride a motorcycle if you can avoid the deer.

Nice pictures ferret. My ride today was restricted by too many cars around from NYC. Are you still using a point and shoot camera hanging on a lanyard? Or am I mistaken.

Happy Father's Day to you and forum members.

The camera takes good pictures while bouncing during a ride.
