k and h seat

Hello, does anyone know if the k and h seat is waterproof. I ride in the rain a lot. Are the seats all leather or can you get them in vinyl? Are leather seats waterproof? Thanks.

I have 2 K & H seats, both in vinyl. Most of the K&H seats are in vinyl and leather is a special option.

I doubt the seats would pass a strict waterproof test (submerged in 20 feet of water for a hour or two), but they are certainly water resistant. There are zero signs of water penetrating the sturdy high quality vinyl, and the stitches are very tight, doing a great job of sealing out water at the seams.

I've been caught in several torrential storms - the kind that you have to wring out your dripping clothes and dry your boots for a week. The seats have weathered the wet with no problems and they look as new as the day I got them.

When I wash the bike, water can sit for 15-20 minutes. A quick wipe with a towel and the seat dries to the touch in a few minutes.
