So Ive ordered 2 new sprockets from 7th Gear Designs, and looking at getting a nice new chain to go with them..
Did a search on the forum and seems a DID 530 X-ring might be the go...but looking online they come with a differing number of links from 110-120...?
How many links does a 2013 CB1100 have?
Is there a part number or code maybe?
In South Australia... so Im guessing most motorcyle shops stock them?
Any help, recommendations etc greatly appreciated....cheers

No, not stock size sprockets....19T front ,37T rear ... I was under the assumption (maybe wrong?) that the stock size chain fitted...I understand a bit of modding/grinding to the steel chain guard is needed.. cheers

The stock 110 link chain length is fine - very little adjustment needed.

PDuck has the same 19T / 37T combo so I hope he's right.. could get the 117 link and break it up as suggested, but not sure if it is necessary.. If 111 links is less adjustment than 110 I'd probably do it, but it's all new ground for me... PD if you read this, when you say 'little adjustment' do you think 111 link's would be better or worse? Cheers

I put the sprockets on when nearly new, less than 500 miles, with the original chain. Remember, the 19T is a little larger, the 37 a little smaller, so they more or less compensate for each other.
The 19T/37T is almost a 1:2 ratio. Manufacturers don't like perfect ratios, since it causes accelerated wear and possible harmonic resonance. A particular chain roller would encounter the same sprocket tooth regularly.
