Will a leaking fork seal cause vibration? Getting more vibration than I'd consider normal on some rides. I was thinking it might be the the front wheel because I replaced the tire myself a couple months ago and balanced it myself using a Motion Pro wheel truing balance stand. But i've ridden at least 500 miles since then with no issue. I noticed the fork seal leaking (left side looking forward) a few weeks ago, but have also ridden a lot since then too. The vibration just started a week ago and happens on my commute to work which is 40 miles one way. It's only in my right hand too, so getting it through the throttle which seems odd.
2014 CB1100. 13k miles. No mods except for engine guard bars and rear seat rack.

I cant imagine a fork seal causing vibration but a quick whip round with a fork seal buddy might cure your leak and prove a point. Did any weights fall off your newly balanced wheel?

Hello. By any chance, does the tube on your leaking fork have any pits, or flaking chrome? Mine developed small pits.

I currently have a leaking right seal from the riders seat perspective. I resolved it once with a $5 plastic tool you can buy to clean the seals with. I’m going to try it again and if not resolved will just replace both seals. I’m at a little over 20K miles and had the initial problem somewhere around 7-10K miles.

Yeah, once a front seal on my CB1100 was weeping a little. Used the SealMate tool and made quick work. The issue never came back.

Weights are still intact.

No pitting or flaking chrome
