The footpeg is more or less generic, you can get from other bikes. I have levers and indicators (they will need some soldering tho cables are cut) so if you don't find what you need locally let me know we will arrange something

Welcome back! After selling your bike and you hadn’t posted in a few weeks, I thought you might have moved on to greener pastures. Did you find a suitable replacement motorcycle?

Welcome back! After selling your bike and you hadn’t posted in a few weeks, I thought you might have moved on to greener pastures. Did you find a suitable replacement motorcycle? Thanks for checking in on me I'm not going anywhere, it's a sort of a grieving process and gives me time to reflect on other things. I haven't found a replacement, I'll be riding in the dirt only, for a while at least. It has been a busy few weeks though

So I got the welded old footpeg back, and it looked okay, but one jab with my foot and it snapped off immediately. I had my plan B ready to go following the posts above, but the motorbike repair dude simply fixed one of his pegs, from his wide collection, onto it. In retrospect I should have asked him to do what he thought was the best solution, instead of weld this peg please, in the first place, - but I never knew that they were mostly standardized. Live and learn.

The other bits he fixed back on (indicator and clutch lever) are sound. And in a few more days and my foot will hopefully be sound. So lucky I didn't get trapped under the exhaust side of the motorbike. I don't want to even think about how that would have felt.

I got my ankle jambed in under the pipe going to the muffler exhaust (just behind the side stand) on an Aprilia low side event. Boots were the key at keeping the ankle sound and cool. Good quality riding boots with ankle protection.

Mr T at Samurider is EXTREMELY helpful. I needed a new fork tube for my 1998 Honda VFR800, and it was not available in the states. I emailed Mr T and he got it for me quickly.
