The black shells are good and the gauges work.
The white plastic is heavy damage. The black shells are open (a little) and I can see many pieces of white plastic. Now I cannot touch my CB for assurance practise. In any case if the AliExpress's white plastic is good, I would like to buy it for anticipate the time....

I wonder how easy it is to get parts like that from the USA to Italy at this time of COVID. It seems impossible to get things down under.

I would definitely try to repair your meter assembly before replacing it. I repaired my meter assembly using Guerrilla Glue, a clamp and a soldering iron:
