Hello
My battery got drained during Christmas, I think manly because the previous owner installed a dash camera, anyway, I tried to jump start the motorbike and it starts but then it stops after few seconds, when the jump starter gets off the bikes goes down (It switch on and off as it is charged)
Any ideas? Thank you so much in advance.
Model is a CB1100SA 2014

Welcome to the Forum Jealvar.
In regards to the dash camera, probably better to connect its power leads to a switched circuit on the CB1100 (when the ignition is switched on).
Sounds like the battery probably cannot handle a load anymore. Replace the battery.

Thanks for the welcome.
The camera switch on automatically with the power, but I believe that it is draining the battery because it is plugged to it directly.
The battery is quite new, only 3 or 4 months. Maybe I have burned it with the jump starter.

If the battery is so new, does it have warranty?

If the camera comes on exclusively upon turning on the bike ignition, then it is unlikely loading the battery unless you leave your ignition on (e.g. headlight on) and walk away for a long time.
However, if the camera is connected directly onto the battery terminals, then the camera is constantly draining the battery all the time.
The question is: Which is it? Both? Unlikely. If so, then to help, please provide the Forum is some images of the camera wiring configuration.

Load test the battery, if it fails, replace it and connect the camera to a switched power source. The camera might have a standby mode, where it remains ON even when not active. What's it like to ride in Hong Kong? Post some pics.
