color : red only ?

Sold an all black Bonneville SE to buy the CB and I'm happy with the color. Then again my first real motorcycle was red. Honda did a great job on the tank shape and color IMHO.

Picked up a pearl white with the black wheels and blacked out engine, it looks much more classy in the flesh than the pictures seem to convey. I haven't seen any sloppy roads or weather yet to see how the grime might show ( can hardly wait to spit shine it). I think the silver side covers work a little better on the white model than the red and after seeing pics of red side covers with red tank I thought that is a nice combo

So, now that we all have red bikes...what color is your helmet? I'm stuck with a blue one, as it was purchased it with my previous blue bike, and it's way too new to consider getting a new one. I should've known to always buy a neutral color helmet!

Paint it perhaps???

If I were wanting a CB without the sidecar that I already have, I would prefer white. I think the white looks fantastic. But, because my sidecar is black and wouldn't look good in red, I must have a black CB. As much as I hate it, I will probably have a red one
painted.

Having said that, I've been thinking. It's not likely that Honda will continue the exact same bike next year. I'm wondering now if Honda will offer one color again next year but it will be a different color. Maybe it will be black. It wouldn't surprise me. I just don't want to wait that long. I'd kick myself if I had a 2013 painted and the 2014's come out in black.

If any of you get an inkling about when Honda announces the 2014's, please let me know. For now, I'm waiting.

Yeah, I thought about that but I would want the side panels black too. I do have an excellent painter who could duplicate the factory paint and would do it for less. If it were not for the side panels, I would really consider buying the new tank. I really don't mind the idea of having it painted, but only if I were sure the 2014's wouldn't be black.
