2 ties down straps- pulled to each front corner enough compress the forks- is all you need- and enough that you can drive wild enough to slide the rear tire back and forth and the bike itself won't budge. Been doing this for decades...

Man, I sure did it wrong when I brought my first bike home.. on the side stand on a Harbor Freight trailer bouncing all the way. I'm surprised it made the trip.

If you guys want a stand like the harbor freight above- I have this, in black, and it is fantastic-

The price went up since I bought it several months ago- but I see there are other sellers for a little less.

U-haul trailer only has a V-shaped notch in the front, not a chock. Understand about the side stand.
Thanks.

Pfft. When we were younger we would have hitchhiked to the bike and rode it home. The stud among us (not me for sure) would have even picked up a lady or two on the way home!
Three of us would have gotten speeding tickets.
I'd get a ticket for not having current tags.

Well...it's here!. Arrived yesterday from Maryland. Used a Uship contractor (brand new, no feedback, first trip)...the only quote I got. All worked out great. I do miss my 3 car garage, as we just moved to a new, smaller home. No time to tinker with it last night, but will start soon....clean, polish, battery tender, remove some dumb accessories, etc. Odd couple of warm days here in PA, but won't last. At least it will be a short storage period.
Thanks to all for advice.

Looks great. Somebody put a ton of aftermarket on that thing. Bringing it to western NC to hang out with us at the end of August?
