I am very happy the CB lives on for another year in the US ...
I was praying for the cb to come to the US when I first found out about the japan/Australian models but something wasn't right .. Maybe it was the the all silver engine and wheels ..
When I saw the red CB for the first time in person at the 2012 San Mateo motorcycle showing the partially blacked out engine and wheels ..it was love at first sight ..
I made sure I picked a 2013 up before they made any changes .. Planning on a 4-4 exhaust and a front /rear sprocket change for lowering final gear ratio in the future..
Can't wait to see the 2014 and the aftermarket support

The spoked wheels were the 'must have' for me when I ordered my 2014 model. I'd seen pictures of the Australian 2010 model and also the 2013 UK one at a bike show and for me the 'comstar' look of the original wheels was a deal breaker so I then went and got a Yamaha XJR1300 instead. Thanks to Honda for the '14 updates I'll just have put up with riding 2 bikes this summer!

I had never seen a black EX before, it's sharp too! The aluminum colored motor keeps it from being too much black.

Thanks for that link. I notice that riders in Finland get three colors to choose from, while here in the US we get one. And no spoked wheels. Thanks Honda.

I'm at Barney's in St Pete getting the CB's oil changed. I talked with
a salesman who has not heard anything about a 2014. He looked on
some website and didn't see anything. I gave him my number and
told him I'd be interested in making a change. We'll see if he calls...
They did have a 2013 on the floor with a price of $9049.00...

The US Market has to be bigger than the Finland market. Three colors, ( my preference is still Red, by far ), but spokes. ??? Maybe it's just not just Finland market but European maket.

Before buying the honda i was split between the honda and a bonneville.
I had owned many hondas and and a suzuki and new they were well built good running bikes, but was drawn to the look of the classic bonney with spoke wheels and dual pipes mainly.
in the end it came down to the honda dealer let me ride it and the bonneville dealer didnt. Its a longer story but i went with the CB.
i think the improvements are gonna bring the bike more riders than our 13 did.
i plan on keeping mine for a long time, i love pulling into the garage and seein it. im torn as to adding the dual pipes and spokes. Maybe after i have had it longer
In a year or two there will be OEM dual exhaust take offs all over fleebay and maybe even in classified at CB1100forums. I'll be interested in a set myself.

Talked to a local Honda salesman at the Motorcycle Show today and he said they had two WHITE ones at their Tucson dealer. Anyone hear of white tanks hitting the USA?
