That's pretty good. I suspect you spend a lot of time on the highway, or have a very light hand on the throttle. You're getting much better mileage than I do.
I spend about 75% of my time in the city and am known for being somewhat of a lead wrist. At my typical 42 mpg, my last bar starts flashing at around 120 miles, with one gallon remaining.
Half my commute is highway, half is surface streets (almost exactly). I try to be in fifth as much as possible, but I don't have any problems gassing it when the occasion calls for it. ;-)
In general, though, I'm pretty easy on the throttle. I average ~50mpg. If it's any indication, I get about 40mpg on my CBR. :-D

Ran mine pretty low the other day; it took 3.00 gallons to fill. Cutting it a little too close. The range is not all that great when you're blasting along. Got about 38 mph that day, admittedly hustling along over hilly freeways and enjoying the engine. Red bar had been flashing for about 20 miles.

My highest was 3.62 gal after 174 miles. I've been averaging 48 mpg so I figured I can run 187 miles In one tank. According to the phone app I had 13 more miles left in the tank. I was not about to question the app accuracy for I did not feel like pushing a 540 lbs motorcycle to the nearest gas station. Now, if I could only have the app on the bike's instrument panel that would be sweet. Wouldn't it?

At 3 gals you still had close to a gallon left in the tank or for you probably another 30 miles to pushing.
