Yep, that was me. It was great to meet someone from the forum! It really is a small world. You don't see many of the cb 1100s in Iowa. I think I was looking at the 14 in the Honda tent when ride4now was taking pictures. Just didn't realize he was also a forum member. I took a couple of pics but they are cell phone pics. I will wait for ride4now to post some good quality pictures.

I do believe that my favorite thing about the new DLX is the aluminum front sprocket cover - very nice!

Oh jeez, now I'm sorry I traded my 13 in... NOT! lol
Beautiful motorcycle. Can't wait till mine comes in. Glad to hear it sets a little bigger. Even though I'm a small guy I always felt the 13 sat a little small for a liter bike. Don't mind the hump in the tank either. There will be a tank bag sitting up there, followed by my belly so I won't see it much of it lol. The header pipes look amazing in chrome. The wheel do look a little washed out but oh well.
What did you determine about your rear rack fitting?
Thanks for the pics!

Initially, I wouldn't have imagined an extra 1/2 gallon of capacity making all that much difference to the shape of the tank. On the other hand, if someone were to hand me a 1/2 gallon container full of clay and tasked me with adding it to the original tank design while trying to keep as much of the original style as possible, I could see where it would be a very challenging task.

It's a seriously good looking bike. I do like the symmetry of the 4 into 2.
Thanks for this pics, Ride4now.

Thanks for the pics. I was having trouble seeing the difference in the tank shape in Honda's PR photos. The angles you got make it much clearer.
It's got a bit more of a hump, but I think it still looks really sharp.

There wasn't a 13 readily available to compare the two side by side... but the grab
handles don't angle up as I thought I'd seen in previous photos. The handles themselves look a bit different but I think the mounting is the same. I talked to a guy at the booth who said he thinks it'll fit but who knows. I'm not sure if he was from Honda or a local guy from the nearby dealer. We'll see...

R4n.....did you notice any density difference in the seat foam? I read someplace it's thicker and softer.
