Mine's in!
#1
Just got sent this photo of my bike! I'll have to be happy with just the pic for now though because I'm living overseas until June. Cannot wait to get home for many reasons, you know friends and family and stuff....and a NEW CB1100! Life is good.

Dale, that's awesome. I'm envious.

What colors are available in Malaysia? Deluxe or EX available?

I bet you have some interesting roads to travel. I'd love it if you posted some pictures.

Maybe some of your beautiful bike with the Petronas Twin Towers in the background. Smile

If I recall correctly, Dale was the first one to order a '14 last year (from a Canadian dealer). I think that means he'll be getting a Spencer Blue ABS Standard when he gets back to Canada in June.

Yes I will be moving back to Vancouver, Canada. That's where the bike's waiting. To answer your question CB4ME, I don't have a bike here. It's stressful enough in our suv. Driving anywhere in Asia is nuts. I think there are actually rules of the road written down somewhere here but they are not followed in the least. Gotta be vigilant at all times because that guy that's driving one-third into your lane probably WILL slide over right when you're beside him. Basically drivers here look at what's in front of them and nothing else.

There are tons of bikes here though very few full size type, mostly 125cc blue-smoking mopeds that weave in and out of traffic and drive in between regular traffic. They text while driving, carry more than 2 people (4 is common) and often hit your mirrors. I've seen a few crotch rockets here and some Harley's but never a UJM, don't even know if there available here. Even if there was you wouldn't catch me on one here.

Dale, that looks awesome! Please post a picture when you get home and get it in the sunlight. I wonder what kind of regulations there are for a US citizen to purchase a bike in Canada? If that is a six speed it would be perfect!

Beautiful... just freakin beautiful!! A huge congratulations is in order. Beer

BTW, my first bike was a '74 XL100. Bought it new when I turned 15 and worked all summer to pay it off.
