For many years I went to the Americade with the CBX Club, we had great times with all the guys and girls.
The Americade is very well organized in a beautiful part of New York.

Not this year, we have a wedding that weekend. It is a great place for a motorcycle event, well planned lots to do great riding in what is basically a 6 million acre wilderness once you leave Lk George village. My favorite place for a bike event..

Working on it. Took the week off, so hope to do at least a day. I am aiming for Tuesday or Wednesday. Looks like the weather is going to hold. We'll see.

I live 10 minutes from there. I go every year & enjoy the vendors. I ride the tour routes regularly---this is a beautiful part of the country. Winters are long, though. :-)

I'll post some pictures, as soon as I get back on the grid. I'm limping along on primitive cans and string internet up here.

This is where they have the test rides, and they have a really nice collection of current models... including...

I was there with some friends but was riding my Triumph. I was lucky enough to get in on the longer demo ride with the deluxe.

She's truly amazing...the engine is smooth as glass as well as the hydraulic clutch. The sixth speed was also a joy on the interstate but like many reviewers have previously stated, the deluxe seems most enjoyable cruising through the back roads. After lugging around a big cruiser for the last few days, the deluxe is pure pleasure.

As I've stated before, the deluxe hits all my buttons styling wise as she reminds me of my CB500 and CB750 Nighthawk combined into one modern machine.

I will definitely get one someday and will happily trade in my Triumph to make it happen!

Better not wait, does not appear many have been sold. I had a heck of a time finding one. Only 2 in dealerships in all of Texas and then the one I purchased appeared last Thursday. I bought it out from under the dealership owner who was planning to take for an extensive test ride over the weekend. I told the dealership manager; if it has miles on it, I start driving to Dallas or Chattanooga. No test rides by owners or others if you want sale.
