I'm 66 and I guess you could say semi retired. Started a home design business in 1974 when I was 25. Had a good career for a lot of years and still dabble there occasionally - http://www.luciadesigns.com - (click the FB link at the bottom to see more, you should be able to go there even if you're not on FB).
I was going to fully retire and ride the country on my FZ1 a little over two years ago, but got an incredible job offer that required a 5 year commitment instead. In my new job designing homes for an architectural firm - http://www.philkeandesigns.com - I make my own schedule and have a good amount of time off, so I'm still able to do 2 or 3 trips a year, mostly to NC and TN. Living in Florida I can ride year 'round if I do it right (early morning, early evening in the summer time!).
I got my first bike when I was 14 and the first reliable one when I was 16. By then I had a part time job at Orlando's first Kawasaki dealer which was a blast.
I raced amateur motocross in 1970 and managed to snag a few trophies when the really fast guys were off at other races 
I've had a lot of bikes over the years, some flipped and sold, some kept long enough to put some mileage on.
Had lots of sport bikes, did a bunch of track days. Still enjoy street riding a couple times a week and almost every Sunday.
I started a local club in 2000 called Central Florida Cycle Riders with a few friends. It's on FB now and has grown a lot. Bunch of great folk, all ages and interests. Got the DLX for my son so we could ride together but he's got other things going on, so I ended up with it. I've been gradually customizing it to taste.
Also started another FB group, CB1100 and CB1100DLX Face Book Group, about 150 people there, several of my fellow Forum members.
I really like the CB, it's been excellent for strafing the twisties, riding to the mountains and commuting to work. I'm just doing a few more things to it and she'll be done. Really enjoy this forum and the riders I've met here and at the rally.

Everybody already knows you're a professional MMA fighter and sushi chef .....or maybe that's just my impression.

lost interest in motorcycles, was watching my 86' 900 Ninja rot in the garage.....
saw and bought the CB1100, now I am back in the saddle and loving it...albeit at a slower, safer pace.

I find it interesting how different bikes attract different kinds of folks. Speaking from my limited observations and in really broad generalizations, it seems that doctors and dentists ride BMWs, lawyers and car mechanics ride Harleys, Aircraft mechanics, engineers, retired cops and retired military ride KLRs. All good people, all having fun. So what's the thread that ties CB1100 riders? Maybe we mostly rode in the '70s on bikes that look like the CB? I am 58, run a t-shirt company and rode a CB400f in the '70s.
I'm a 55 year old retired city police officer, and now on a second career as a university police officer (much slower). I've had street and dirt bikes my whole life, with most of my miles going on an 02 ST1100 that I truly enjoyed.
The first time I saw the 14 DLX I fell in love with it, and had to have it. I think it is one of the most beautiful motorcycles Honda has ever made. Beautiful chrome and excellent build quality. I think it will be a collectible antique one day. I gave up the long distance work when I traded the ST1100 for the easy going DLX. I sometimes miss the power of the ST, but not the weight. I think this will be my last motorcycle, since I can't think of anything else I would want out of a motorcycle that the CB doesn't have. Just a beautiful, simple, well made machine.

57 yr old cattle rancher. Pilot, aircraft home builder and shooting enthusiast. The CB brought back memories of the first time I saw the CB750 in 1969. To me, the CB is a road implement and to support a local Honda dealer.

I'm 57, been in media and advertising for 33 years. Career moved me around, living in Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, D.C, but back home at The Jersey Shore and working at 30 Rock, and now the beautiful Chrysler Building for 20 years. Started off riding a Yamaha Mini-Enduro around the then- empty spaces of exurban NJ when i was 12, and proceeded through other '70's enduros / MX bikes. First road bike was a Kawasaki H-1 500 in '75. Re-ignited my moto-enthusiasm a decade ago, and have built a small collection of vintage bikes and a rotating assortment of modern rides. I'm Triumph- oriented, and I generally prefer the Tiger 800 and Speed Triple for long distance and modest hooning, respectively. But the CB1100 spoke to me, it's an undeniably beautiful and enjoyable machine. And this forum speaks to the magnetism of the bike towards good blokes.

I'm a 63 year old retired oil refinery operator/pumper; did that for 33 years. Before that I was a VW mechanic and service manager at a dealership.
I got the 1100 because it's what a motorcycle should be: simple, light, and fast and it's got that classic Honda style.

I am a 58 year old car dealer. I have ridden for many years but mostly sport touring bikes like a ST1300 and a few BMW RT's. I got back in to motorcycling after being off for five years and started looking at CB750's, 500's or 550's. I saw the CB1100 Deluxe and fell in love with it. I wanted the looks of the bikes I grew up with but liked the FI and ABS etc. I have had the CB about two months now and I am really happy.

I'm a 31 year old journeyman welder, work with my service truck in an open pit mine fixing caterpillar 797, komatsu 930 and cat 24m grader, never owned a bike or drove one before a i first saw the cb1100, there was something special about that motorcycle that make me want to ride it. Avid outdoorman, any pretext to be outdoor is a good one, fishing, hunting, quading, sleeding, boating, and traveling... and now riding my motorcycle. My main problem is that i enjoy too many hobby, so my time spend with each one is never long enough... !
