Hi, has anybody put their CB on a weight reduction - I'm thinking mirrors, mudguards, indicators, pillion hand grips and most likely the biggest area a replacement exhaust. The urge to modify is gradually taking over! I would probably make all the changes and then revert back to standard or some interim point.
Has anybody made these mods and actually checked on the weight reduction that can be achieved fairly easily?
Regards Landy

I need to put me on a weight reduction program. That would take nearly 30lbs off.

This comes to my mind every time I read a Motorcyclist or Cycle World article about Ducati or another manufacturer "shaving ten grams of weight from the RRRR with a new unobtainium sprocket cover". Just the other day I saw a woman on a GSXR whose butts-cheeks enveloped 1/3 of the bike. The seat looked like a g-string. I wonder what the Suzuki engineers would think about that if they'd seen it?
