I'm good with a small windscreen and thermometer. My only problem is finding a black 6 foot quality bungee cord. I stopped to make a phone call during a 150 ride today and saw my reflection in a store window while sitting on the CB. It was pretty awesome.

Guth, I used to be a farkler but old age has set in on me. Usually, anything I mod anymore has to have a purpose. The only thing I have added to my 750 is mirror extensions that were badly needed and a centerstand. I did change the headlight housing because the lighting was so deplorable imo. But those things all have a purpose at least to me. I am not against mods at all. I am a simpleton and have become somewhat of a minimalist. I dont think you are alone here at all.

Everything I purchase I give quite a bit of thought too these days and try to think down the road some. The tank bag and tail bag I bought I knew would work well on and 1100 in case I bought one of those down the road but still serve my purpose now.

I can tell you that I have fooled with and modded everything from motorcycles to boats to Mustangs and its like lighting a match to multiple hundred dollar bills at a time. I dont regret doing it but I am just kinda past that now. I feel like now I know more about what I really want. But for me, it was a stage I had to go through to find out for sure if that makes any sense.

There is still a little devil in my head that likes hot rodding anything a little bit. I love following Ridems32 ECU thread and some of the other stuff but I really do weigh things much more these days.

Alright Guth here goes,

Do you realize if you had never started this site, wife's would still be in love with there check book (and there husbands for that matter) which is non existent. I personally would have a stock bike no ECU flash, Full exhaust etc. etc. You have created a site where members get all these crazy ideas for each other, and you quietly sit back and enjoy the insanity.

But having said that, I for one thank you

6' ft bungee possibly used for assisted hole shot? Or on heck of a big something being strapped to the bike!

At a local fabric store you can buy bungee by the foot along with the bits that go on the end.

We had a tractor supply that offered select length bungees, but not any more.

I use it for a seat belt. Why? Don't you have to have a seat belt?
