One thing. If you don't already know how to remove the seat, get them to show you. Of course its in the manual--under the seat...

Seeing it's a Chicago winter rinnow, I still have it at the shop but it's mine. Thoroughly impressed with how everything went.

 Did you meet Fred? He's probably the guy who will do the orientation part (where you'll learn how to remove the seat, among other things). Nice guy, knows his bikes. If you haven't met him yet, do so.

I did meet Fred then. I liked his presentation on the bike, extremely informative and professional. Where do you guys usually meet up when getting the Chicago chapter together? Would love to come out and meet the group.

That's right. When this bike first came out, a number of us asked the salesman to remove the seat and they didn't know how. My salesman had to call the service manager to show us. Yeah, we could have looked in the manual, but it was under the seat! I did not get a presentation. Just, here's the keys. Then I asked about the seat.

LOL The "Chicagoland Chapter" consists of Tim (Short Timer), Todd (Todd_K), and Matt (yours truly) and we have met once, sometime last summer (there's a Seat Time report about it). We have not set anything else up, yet. I think Todd may be reluctant to come to any more meetings since I threatened to kill him for his Vanson jacket, but who knows? I would love to have another meeting and ride and I'm sure we can set something up for this spring. Just keep checking the forum. Glad you met Fred. I like him a lot. Next time you're in, introduce yourself to T.C., the tall, thin, parts guy. He's always been incredibly attentive to my wife and me when we need parts. He will spend as much time as you want surfing their suppliers' catalogs for the right part. I know that I can probably get some things cheaper on the internet, but I like buying local when I can and T.C. is such a nice guy--I like to get business to him. They also host these "Super Saturdays" events which are usually informative http://www.psnnewsletter.com/newsletters...50_45.html I am planning on going to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Safety Saturday presentations and maybe the others, but that depends on any orders I receive from The Tower.

Would love to meet up when the timing/weather permits. I did meet T.C. too. Real nice guy as well.
