The paint work on these bikes is so amazing, I would have a hard time destroying it just to change the color.

I've had a 13 and a 14, I'd go for the 14 every time.

Well my decision was made for me since when I called this morning to put a deposit down they said the 2013 is sold. I put down my deposit for the 2014 over the phone and will be picking up my shiny new toy in a week or two. Celebrate

I'm mainly checking to see what else I would be missing out on besides the cluster and 6 spd if I chose the '13.

The early project engineers agreed. Five speeds is more relaxed. The gears on the five are also slightly farther apart than the six speed. The idea is to put it in fifth at about 28 mph and leave it til you go below that.

Just curious, did you ride them both back to back? Any difference you noticed?

I haven't ridden either of them to be honest. The local dealership is having it shipped in from another one of their stores. I've read so many online reviews and watched several Youtube video reviews to know that I'm going to like what I'm getting. I did the same with my FZ6. Smile

Ferret, the only CB's that I could find within a few hour drive radius were standards so that's what I ended up getting.

A std. is great, no complaint - but a 6 speed and ABS is worth a few extra buck$ IMO.
