Yeah - I'm drooling. At least I didn't also buy the GoPro otherwise I would really feel bad. I might flip this dual kit and buy 2 of the Camera units for Christmas gift to Wife and myself! Big Grin

That was the original reason I bought mine as well (phone calls) and is still my primary use for it, although you will love the intercom feature when you ride with others that have them also.

Really excited to get it setup. Going to make riding a lot more enjoyable whether alone or 2-up.

Wife and I both have HJC modular helmets and use a Sena system, bought the "dual pack" option. Works well with a pretty good range plus telephone connectivity. Upgrades to operating system have been steady and simple.
Tried a chatterbox system several years back, anybody want it just PM me and its yours for the shipping cost.

BTW I ride in front of my wife when she rides so I can warn her about stuff.. "watch this guy doesn't pull out"," dead animal here, ""pot hole right tire track,"" gravel on inside of turn" " this is a 25 mph zone" etc. She mainly uses hers for "did you see the landscaping back there? Did you see the front door on that house?" "Can we pull over someplace so I can use the bathroom?"

There is a new one on the market with no boom mike, but the ear pieces are pretty big. Can't remember the name of them. Uses aircraft pilot technology I am told.

My friend and his wife who rides just got these. Too early for a review, yet, but I think my wife and I will get them so that the four of us can communicate on group rides.

Not a big fan..especially with trying to get 4 people synced. It works good for music, but my wife and I do not trust it to work consistently for communicating -- very often one or the other device just stops working. Also, the series of button-presses needed to change from one use to another is overly-complicated and hard to remember ("do I push and hold the "up" button to connect or is that to turn up the volume?"). Got a lot of good help from my parts guy at Honda, so we're going to keep the units rather than spend another $200+ on another brand, but I cannot recommend the UClear HBC100Plus to anyone.

If you DO have this device, remember to power the unit off BEFORE disconnecting it for re-charge. If you plug it in to the charging cable and the unit is still on, all sorts of funky things can happen to the programming of the unit. (yet another weird thing about these devices).
