Question for PaPa Weeley
#1
I really like the personalization changes you made on your CB1100 and want to add a few of them on mine. Can you tell me where you got the front fender in this picture? Thanks!

Thanks, Popgun! I'm in the process of ordering a bunch of accessories from Samurider and somehow missed this fender on their site.

With your quick reply I was able to include this item on my order. This forum is full of great ideas and helpful members! Glad to be part of it.

Sorry I missed your post, but glad that you got the info you needed - thanks for stepping in, popgun!
Let me add that it appears to technically be a 2014 model year color-match, as it is very, very slightly darker than the rest of the paint on my '13. I'm probably the only one to notice it, and it hasn't been enough of a bother for me to take it to my painter to have it re-done, but wanted to toss out that little caveat for you.
And BTW, thanks for the compliment, Ron! Smile

Papa Weeley - I'll let you know how the color comes out on my fender. I ordered the fender, fairing and side covers at the same time from Samurider. Not sure if these items are painted separately by different suppliers or all together?

Probably nothing to worry about anyway; as you can see in the picture, the difference is almost imperceptible. I think the fact that it doesn't lie directly next to another painted body panel - like the tank and side covers, for example - really helps. It's a great looking piece, I'm sure you'll be plenty happy with it.

I guess you got that answer on FaceBook. Wink
For anyone else interested: I'm not sure of the year, but the part numbers are 88210-MGZ-305 and 8820-MGZ-305.
