"ONE OF?" Dang Jeephoto you must get some dandy Christmas presents.
So, my question is: what is your favorite Honda or CB1100 Christmas Gift?
I got my CB1100 DLX last December so I consider it "one of" my best gifts. The other being when I was 12 and my parents bought my brother and I brand new Honda Trail 70's and surprised us for Christmas. I got the red one, my brother got the gold one. We rode the crap out of those little bikes and loved every minute of it. This looks like mine.
I just love Red Hondas.

Larry, you're killing me! In 1971 my next door neighbor, who was 12 at the time, got a brand new CT-70 for Christmas, just like the one in your photo. It made my 3 hp minibike seem prehistoric by comparison. I'll never forget how my world imploded that day.
Two years later, in 1973, one of my best friends got a brand new SL-70 for Christmas and another got a brand new Yamaha Mini-Enduro. They were both 14 years old at the time. Each had been riding Taco minibikes up to that point, and I still had my 3 hp minibike. My world imploded again.
Today I'm able to ride whatever I want, but whenever I see a CT-70, SL-70, or Mini-Enduro, I'm suddenly a crushed 12 year old kid all over again!

In 1983, I came back from overseas with my wife and 3 kiddos. I wanted a new Japanese bike and went to the local Honda dealer in Ohio (can't recall which one or where) and they had a whole showroom full of LEFTOVER 1981 and 82 CB650 single overhead cam. They had blue and red. Probably 50 of them on the floor and they were selling at $800 plus TTL. Wife and I went all over the country on that thing. Geesh I was a tad thinner then... If it is a Honda, it has to be red!
