Ups!
I'd suggest to check the fork for bent.

Glad your ok, if you have full coverage I would just take it to the dealer and let them get it back to new. Im sure if a report was done then its on record anyway. There may be other things that need checking like the frame and steering head to make sure no cracks. The forks may be bent, front wheel may be bent and so on. Dont know how hard you hit, just saying may be more then you can visually see.

I am trying to get a parts list and pricing to see if i can fix it for a reasonable price. i am not wanting to claim it on insurance in fear that my monthly payment will sky rocket

The good news here is that you're okay. Helmets are good things indeed.

Whenever you impact the front end, you have to check alignment of the bike; handlebars, front wheel, triple tree, and forks at a minimum. If you had hit with more force, I'd say check the frame/steering head. Check this area if you find more damage in any of the first four components.
Just curious on the braking - do you have ABS? Did you pull hard on the brake lever all the way to impact?
You are lucky, I'd say you didn't hit too hard but I'm sure it scared the &$%# out of you.

Watch the tracking and tire wear once you have it back together. I have seen minor impacts like just falling over while on the kickstand tweak the frame.
