I was so looking forward to having Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off from work to get some seat time since I put new rubber on her. I thought with having 3 days off, at least I would get to ride on one of those days. Well, so far that hasn't been the case. Yesterday morning had a bunch of running around to do, and then the weather started getting bad later in the day. So here it is on Wed. and still no chance due to weather (the weather reminds me of being in England). Maybe, just maybe there will be some hope for tomorrow. So far I have only been able to test the new tires out on my way to work, and so far, so good. They definitely feel better going over the road joints on the highway. I don't get jarred around. Hopefully the rain will end (drizzle, drizzle, drizzle) by tomorrow and I can take the ol' girl out for a ride.

I feel your pain.
Up here it's been cold and wet and very few bikes out yet.

Too bad Ken. Having time off and new tires and Mother Nature not cooperating is a bummer.

Wait!!! I think I see something...A Bright light coming from the Sky. Could it be the sun? Dang, now I have something else I have to do. Well, I guess I won't be able to hit some of the back roads, but I can still take the bike out on the mean streets of Charleston (after I walk the dogs...LOL).

Yes I feel your pain. Yesterday I rode for the first time in April. It has rained or snowed many days this month here in NW Indiana. I rode yesterday and the temps were around 45 but it was dry and sunny. It was a tad cold on the finger tips but a nice day. I am thinking I need a little better cold weather glove than I rode with on my ST1300. Hands are a bit exposed.

SCCBrider, tie the dogs to the bike and ride at a moderate pace.
What rubber have you put on her?

Hmmm, sidecar on the CB so the dogs can go too!
Maybe next week, this week I'm going to inspect the foothills and make sure the bbq joint is still open.

Good idea 'Birds. Desperate measures for desperate times. But would be nice to first scrub the new rubber in on some dry.
Cheers
