Since it sits outside my shop in an unsavory part of Orange County, I installed a flanged pipe in place of the converter - why give them another one to steal? I'll put one in for the next smog check then take it back out for safe keeping. The one on Mrs.' CRV is tantalizingly easy to get to without having to jack it up.
That is a perfect solution, problem is if you catch them in the act you can’t send them to the morgue

Not to prolong the side conversation, but we did get some karma along those lines. Two weeks after my converter was stolen, a guy was found in the next business complex over, crushed to death under a Prius. Apparently the jack slipped during the theft.

The cost of "business" risks.
Hopefully your bikes don't wander away without you Gone. Be safe in L.A.

I guess, I ride my CBF1000F for the next 5-10 years.
But if I had to choose today, I probably would look after a Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE.

I also wouldn’t mind the Harley Pan American, or the Afrika twin. Just wish they didn’t cost so much. Also don’t like the lack of a center stand on the Africa, but that Harley Pan America is one of the only Harley’s I like. V-rod too but that’s gone.

Adding a third party center stand on the Africa Twin is probably one of the cheapest accessories for the bike.

I just feel Honda shouldn’t have omitting that.
