I think you are much tougher than I am dsinned for what you have gone through. I don't particularly love food, I eat it because it is necessary, but don't think I want to get my nourishment thru a tube sewn into my stomach.

Today, I had my last chemo infusion treatment. THANK GOD!!! My last radiation scan was last Thursday. Thank God for that as well. I wouldn't wish such treatments on my worse enemy. The latter has prevented me from tasting anything but sour on my tongue and the back of my mouth is burned making it very difficult to talk and swallow. It's been months since I've had a satisfied appetite drinking H2O and being fed a liquid "formula" thru a feeding tube sutured directly into my stomach 4 times per day.

Sorry friends, to be whining so much, but if not for my bikes parked in the garage, I'd have little to be positive about these days.

I have heard these are rough. I must say I don't think I could do it. But we never know what we can do until we face it.

Thank you for posting Dennis...I wish you full recovery. Your story reminds me to be thankful for good health, so easy to take for granted.
