Happy to hear you guys like the vid.
It's not me in it (I'm behind the camera).
The 'presenter' is Paul Brace from Proper Bikes in the UK.
I'm quite partial to the KH250 I must say. It's the sound!
Speaking of which, we're hoping to do another film soon about a few choice six cylinder bikes from the 70s - the Benelli, CBX and Z1300.
Just have to hope that this last film picks up in terms of views, as that's how we partially finance our (bare bones) operation.

Brightside, that's an exemplary video. Thank you for bringing me to tears again. I love this collection of bikes.
I didn't own this particular '73 RD350 in the Seventies -- I only owned it for a few years, ending a few years ago when it begat a V7 Classic, which then begat a CB1100. The RD was in immaculate condition, just like the three 250's in your video. I found it positively lovely to look at but not...that...great...to actually ride. Time has marched on! However, it was certainly a head-turner and conversation-starter!

I bought a new RD 350 in 1973 that looked just like that LR. My wife and I actually toured 2 up on it. We were (1) much younger (2) much skinnier (3) much tougher then

Yep. I think if we didn't know any better, the RD would still be a perfectly capable two-up touring bike. The problem is that you hop off your ST1300, or I hop off my K1200RS (or we both hop off our DLX's) and climb aboard the RD, suddenly it doesn't seem so great. Between the marginal suspension and wooden brakes, it almost feels dangerous. Honestly, that's how I felt about my '70 CB750K0 too.

Another former RD350 rider here! That beauty stopped my web wandering on the forum just now.
Yep, I'm sure it doesn't compare well to the more up to date rides but it brings back fond memories like only having a kick starter, fouling plugs at the worst times, having to carry a couple extra plugs to swap out just to get going.
Then you recall how that little bike would just scream and take off in a cloud of two-stroke smoke and how your clothes smelled after riding!
I've been looking hard at the V-7 II after renting a V-7 Racer for a day just to see how those bikes feel (pretty good for a lower HP but lighter bike). It's all about the ride
The little Yamaha YZF-R3 caught my eye as a sort of spiritual descendant of the original RD-350, small, light, cheaper twin to play with.
Aloha,
Huladog

Here's another follow up in the bike film series.
This time it's the story of the Kawasaki Z1. And how it had the CB750 to thank for its existence.
Let me know what you all think:

It was great growing up in that time. I rode a friends Z1 and loved the power but hated the handling so i never owned one , added floorboards = Yo
the 1st year Goldwing was a rocket and handled great so i bought one and it was so much faster than my 78 GL1000
