Yeah it was definitely weird that the scooter jumped over the wood chock like that. It did have 16 inch wheels, but still, I've towed everything up to a BMW K1200 LT on the same setup long distance with no problems.
Ferret, yes it's a single. I highly recommend the Kendon. Easy for one person to load and unload a bike. It's low to the ground and easy to push a bike on. The front wheel gets securely trapped in the chock by just rolling it in. You can then let go of the bike and it stays put while you tie it down. And it stows upright in my garage. Stand it up on its three rear caster wheels and push it right up against the wall and even with full size wheels and tires it only takes up 24" in depth from the wall.

Um. Yeah. It's a scooter. CVT.
Much later I realized I could have maybe tied the front brake lever tight to the grip.?

Oh. I don't have, nor have I ever owned or ridden a scooter. I always wondered what kind of transmission they may have. Now I know!
