My age is on my profile. Thanks for considering me as young. But it seems you may have had another adjective to throw in? Huh

Just to be clear. I have ridden the CB11 and it in no way, shape or form "underwhelms" me. It's the epitome of a Honda Motorcycle. I love it...

I never checked your age, I just didn't understand the "yawn" reference.

I was sleepyAngel. I thought I was on FB. The site where you tell everyone your mood and business and show off to your classmates how successful you are. etc. Yawn I need a nap... Feeling a lil underwhelmed all of a sudden. Big Grin

What have I created? This thread... blimey.

Honestly, it's growing on me. I loved the look of the old CBs and this one's just as good. I really think some bark would liven things up a bit. Seems they forgot to add the engine sounds on mine. And as far as crashbars and highway pegs goes, that's simply so I can stretch out my left leg. Old wrestling injury. Gets a bit tense and painful. I've been riding my bicycle though, and that helps a ton.

How do the ergonomics of the CB1100 compare with the 919? Just curious if you have needed to make any modifications to the 919 as well. By the way, I would really like to see a few photos of the CB1100 and the 919 parked next to each other if you ever get a chance.

Yep, great site. Just not quite the same as someone sharing their own personal experiences.

Weirdly, the 919 doesn't seem to bother in the knee department. On a super long 2 hour ride maybe, but for no longer than I'm out, it doesn't seem to bother. Maybe its the slight forward lean angle? No idea. If its nice tomorrow, I'll snap a pic of the CBs together.

Happy to share. I'll never forget, when I got into motorcycles in my Sr. year of High School, i really lusted for a Uranium green Honda 919. Sadly, the green went after 2004, but the red ones were just as pretty. I guess the 919 is to me what some of the old UJMs are for you guys. Hmph... Maybe in 40 years they'll have a 919 throwback and old farts like me will eat them up. Oh nostalgia; its a powerful thing.
