After a week away playing chamber music, I felt a insatiable need for a bit of a back country ride through the Napa Valley and surrounding hills close to home. Both the bike and I felt great. As always, the bike ran flawlessly. I didn't stop to buy wine as I bought 6 cases the day before coming home from my week of music making.

Picture was taken on Wooden Valley Road. Lots of good riding in the area, I never tire of it.

Beautiful!
6 cases of wine would last me 1000 years (it does get better with age right?)

Wine is like torque, Ferret. It keeps for a while—sometimes many years—but eventually it peaks and it's all down hill from there.
Lovely photo, Jeff.

I had a sip of wine at Christmas 3 years ago. Host swore it tasted like grape juice (which I guess technically it is, but I was expecting something tasting like Welche's Grape Juice the breakfast juice). After a sip I wondered where in blazes those people bought their grape juice.

If I rode in Napa Valley I'd add saddlebags also.

I'm close enough for another ride for another day
